To Start

I've been wanting somewhere to put all my stitchy stuff together for a while. I've wanted to have somewhere I can not only share finished projects but also where I can share progress on my current projects. What better place than a blog. 

I've been stitching for well over 20 years now so I have done loads of projects. I no longer have all of them or even have photos of all of them but I do have many. The first one I want to share is one of my all time favourites. It was fun to stitch for the most part and hold great memories for me.

It is simply titles Fractal 54 and comes from Cross Stitch Collectibles. I started this particular one in the few days after we found out that Zac had a heart defect. It carried me through my pregnancy with him, and his whole life. Contained within the green of it is even his name in the symbols used. It did take me 2 years to complete, so it also carried me through my pregnancy with Lucy and her birth. She was about 3 months old when I finished it.

If you look, you can see a few errors in it. Especially down in the purple on the right hand side. I don't know why I didn't frog it. I must've had reason to at the time but can't for the life of me remember what it is now.
